Welcome to
Frail care
Our dedicated frail care unit comprises 19 spacious bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. Expert nursing care is provided 24/7. A call button in each room connects directly to the centrally located nurses’ station.
We encourage our residents to bring their own furniture and décor to make the space their own. Familiar surroundings encourage a sense of well-being for the elderly.
Residents enjoy three nutritious meals daily, prepared according to their dietary and medical requirements. An activities calendar ensures physical and mental stimulation and well-being, and the resident can participate in daily activities. Through our formal activities calendar, our activities coordinator ensures the movement, participation, entertainment and stimulation of our residents.

Frail Care
Physical & mental well-being
We encourage all our residents to participate in daily activities, coordinated by our specialist nurse, to promote their mental, spiritual and physical well-being. We adapt the levels of each activity to the needs of every patient.
When the weather allows, our staff takes the frail care residents out into the garden to enjoy some fresh air and the beautiful garden surroundings.
We are constantly looking for new ways to stimulate our frail care residents and recently introduced therapy dogs to our activities list. The companionship and entertainment this recent visit brought our residents was heart-warming and a wonderful new addition to village life.

When is frail care an option?
Frail care is often seen as the last stop for residents and this cannot be more untrue. In the event that a resident requires nursing care and can no longer operate independently, they are welcome in our frail care.
